HBO confirms that the second season of The Last of Us will appear only in 2025

At the beginning of December, it became known that the second season of The Last of Us TV adaptation would start filming on 12 February 2024. Now HBO has officially announced when viewers can expect the premiere.

HBO has released a teaser showing the projects that are to be released on the HBO MAX streaming service in 2024. However, at the end of the video, the shows that will appear in 2025 are also mentioned. And it is at this point that The Last of Us is shown. So now we can say for sure that we shouldn't count on the sequel until 2025. However, the authors have already fully planned the continuation of the series. All that's left to do now is to switch on the cameras and start filming.

The first season was a real success for HBO and received 24 Emmy nominations, so the second season became known even before the first season finale was released.
