Marvel's X-Men film adaptation is getting Season 2 before Season 1 even premieres

Before "X-Men '97" debuts on Disney+, work is already underway on the second season of the revived animated series "X-Men: The Animated Series."

Marvel Studios seems to be very enthusiastic about the X-Men '97 project, as news has already surfaced about work on the second season.

Lenore Zann, who voiced Rogue in X-Men: The Animated Series, shared an update on social media that she has already returned to the recording studio to work on the second season of "X-Men '97."

"I jes’ know y’all are gonna love our new show as much as I do" Zann wrote.

Zann is among those voice actors returning from the original cast of X-Men: The Animated Series, as X-Men '97 will feature most of the original voice performers.

When We Can Expect It

As of now, there is no word on a release date for the second season of X-Men '97. As for the first season, it is scheduled to premiere in early 2024.
