Rumour: Matt Reeves will start filming the second part of Batman in the summer of 2024

Batman (2022), starring Robert Pattinson, was a hit with critics and audiences alike, and grossed nearly $800 million. So it was obvious that we would see a sequel. However, the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes have shifted the production processes of many films, but now there are rumours as to when the Batman sequel will start.

Here's What We Know

Insider Daniel Richtman said that the film will start shooting in the summer of 2024.

However, James Gunn, the head of DC Studios, said that he had not yet been shown the final version of the script. The deadline for submitting the script was set for February 2024. After that, casting should begin, and cameras should be turned on in the summer.

When We Can Expect It

The film is scheduled to premiere on 3 October 2025.
