'Rebel Moon' director Zack Snyder confessed his fatigue with superheroes
Superhero fatigue has been much discussed online lately. Ironically, Zack Snyder, who has directed many films in this genre, joined the discussion and admitted that superhero fatigue is not only real, but he himself suffers from it.
Here's What We Know
"As a reason for this state of affairs, the director cited the fact that modern superhero films cannot be made in a 'one film' format."
"I have the same fatigue" - says Snyder, adding that comic book films represent a "dead end," incapable of telling self-contained stories. "No one thinks they're going to a one-off superhero movie."
It's ironic enough that Snyder's latest creation, Rebel Moon, is split into two parts. In addition, Snyder hopes to continue the narrative in a video game.
The second part of the franchise, a film titled "The Scargiver," is scheduled for release on Netflix this April.
