John Wick director, Chad Stahelski, dreams of leaving his imprint on the world of Star Wars

Master of action and action films, director Chad Stahelski is apparently now dreaming of something more sci-fi, like Star Wars.

Here's What We Know

"I'm a Star Wars guy", said - Stahelski on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.

"The first Star Wars changed my life path. Maybe someday out there, Disney if you're listening, hit me in a couple of years. I have a couple of takes for Star Wars. I'd take a swing at that, see if Disney could survive me.".

Star Wars has caused quite a stir lately amongst established and talented filmmakers. Taika Waititi and Sharmeen-Obaid Chinoy already have Star Wars films in development, as does Lucasfilm's new creative director, Dave Filoni.

But before Stahelski dives into the world of Jedi and lightsabers, the next project in the John Wick universe is Ballerina, a spin-off starring Ana de Armas as a ballerina assassin that hits the big screens on June 7, 2024.
