"Arcane" Season 2 teaser: New threats and the return of alchemist Sinjed

Fans are tired of waiting for their favourite story to continue, but the good news is that Season 2 of 'Arcane' will be released on Netflix later this year. So far, we've been shown the first teaser trailer created in collaboration with Riot Games - and it looks as bleak as we'd hoped.

Here's What We Know

The video shows the mad alchemist Sinjed, who was glimpsed in the first season, and the enhanced wolf-like monster Warwick, who League players may recognise and is possibly the leader of the Wander Rebellion.

Series Overview

Based on the League of Legends fighting arena title and featuring a cast of actors such as Harry Potter' Katie Leung, Yellowjackets' Ella Purnell and Hawkeye's Hailee Steinfeld, the animated series centres on sisters Powder and Vee, who find themselves on opposite sides of the looming conflict between the utopian town of Piltover and its oppressed underground Zaun.

As a reminder, the first season ended with Vee unable to prevent the defeat of Powder, who turned out to be a brutal and technologically savvy Silko rebel. This led to Powder undergoing a transformation into a violent and deranged anarchist named Jinx, as she is known in the original material.

When We Can Expect It

The second season of "Arcane" will be released on Netflix in November 2024.
