Saltburn star Jacob Elordi will play Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro's new horror for Netflix
The long-awaited horror film "Pretorius", directed by Guillermo del Toro, has finally got a starring actor.
Here's What We Know
Previously, the role of Frankenstein's monster belonged to Andrew Garfield, but he left the show due to schedule difficulties. It has now been revealed that he will be replaced by Jacob Elordi, star of drama thriller Saltburn and TV series Euphoria.
Elordi will join a stellar cast that already includes Oscar Isaac as Dr Frankenstein, Christoph Waltz and Mia Goth.
Here's What The Movie Is About
Details about the plot of the upcoming film is not much. It is known that "Pretorius" Guillermo del Toro will shoot on his own script, and his partner in creating the film will be J. Miles Dale, who has already worked with del Toro on "Cabinet of Curiosities".
Filming is scheduled to begin later this year, and no estimated release date has yet been announced.
Previously, del Toro mentioned that he's been dreaming of making this film for years. And Dale shared that the director is working on his own Monster Universe between "Pretorius" and "The Shape of Water."
