The producer of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse promises that the franchise ending will live up to all fan expectations
One of the producers of Sony's Spider-Man franchise, Phil Lord, promises that the trilogy will end "satisfactorily".
Here's What We Know
Beyond the Spider-Verse was originally supposed to be released this year, but the scope of the project has forced Sony to postpone the release indefinitely. The release is expected to take place in a year or two. But according to the show's producer, the final instalment is worth the wait:
"It will be a very satisfying conclusion. It goes even more emotionally deep into the relationships between Miles, Gwen, Peter B., [and Miles'] parents", Deadline reporters.
Here's What The Movie Is About
Sony's official Beyond the Spider-Verse synopsis: "Miles Morales reunites with fellow heroes Spider-Gwen and Peter B. Parker for another web-swinging adventure through the multiverse, finding himself at odds with the Spider-Society led by Spider-Man 2099".
Shamiek Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson and Oscar Isaac have returned to their roles.
New characters include Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman (Issa Rae), Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya) and Pavitr Prabhakar (Karan Soni), and a new villain, Spot (Jason Schwartzman).
The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Justin K. Thompson and the script is written by the team of Chris Miller, Phil Lord and Dave Callaham.
