Stranger Things final season filming has officially begun
After a long wait, fans of the popular sci-fi series Stranger Things are in for some good news! Filming of the fifth and final season has finally started, which means that the wait is not long.
Here's What We Know
On the beginning of the filming process viewers decided to notify the post in X:
"THIS IS A CODE RED", the show's creators wrote one of the most popular phrases from the series and posted an image of the large ensemble cast getting ready to shoot.
While details of the final season of Stranger Things remain under wraps, star David Harbour has revealed that despite the upcoming sequels and spin-offs, the main series will be given a "true finale".
"The beauty is that there's a real ending here - things will wrap up in a very real way ... Netflix will do sequels ... but the storyline we started with in the lab with the afterlife is one completed story."
For their part, series creators Matt and Ross Duffer added even more intrigue by promising that the fifth season will be like the first, but in an enhanced way.
When We Can Expect It
The fifth season hasn't been given an exact release date yet, but it's expected that we won't see it until 2025 at the earliest.
