Seth MacFarlane's new Ted series has become the most watched series in Peacock history, despite a low Rotten Tomatoes rating
The Ted series based on the 2012 film of the same name starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis is now the most watched original content on Peacock, setting a record just three days after launch.
Here's What We Know
Despite the record-breaking viewing figures, the series has a 58% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Reviews from critics are varied: some find it insanely funny, while others find it painful to watch.
Nevertheless, with a high viewer rating of 90% and significant viewing figures, there is a possibility of releasing a second season.
Series Overview
The plot of the prequel series is about John, who as a child makes a wish to turn his teddy bear into a living one. The action takes place in 1993 and centres on a teenage John and the teddy bear he has to take to school.
As in the original film, Seth MacFarlane himself voices the gruff Ted Bear and is directing the project.

All seven episodes of the series are available to watch on Peacock.
