Developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane for the Paramount+ streaming service, the American action science fiction television series is based on the "Halo" video game series, which is about a war between humans, represented by the forces of the United Nations Space Command (UNSC), against a religious alliance of several alien races (the Covenant).
