Disney announces release dates for 'Toy Story 5', 'The Mandalorian and Groggy' and other highly anticipated films
Disney has outlined the premiere dates for some of its biggest upcoming films and here are more details on the changes.
Here's What We Know
Disney has announced that the fifth instalment of the animated film Toy Story from Pixar Studios will be released on 19 June 2026. This was one of many changes made to the release calendar.
It was also announced that the release date for the Moana remake starring Dwayne Johnson has been pushed back a year. It will now premiere on 10 July 2026, giving it a respite from "Moana 2", which comes out this November.
The studio has also confirmed that the Mandalorian and Grogoo film from the Star Wars universe will be released on May 22, 2026, as previously anticipated. In other news, Tron: Ares starring Jared Leto will be released on 10 October 2025, while The Amateur starring Rami Malek and Rachel Brosnahan has been pushed back from November 8, 2024 to April 11, 2025.
