From $1099: Apple has unveiled a new MacBook Air with M3 chip and Wi-Fi 6E support
Apple has quietly announced the updated MacBook Air.
Here's What We Know
The novelty received the same design as the MacBook Air M2 model, and two versions: for 13 and 15 inches. The main difference between the device was a new chip - M3. Apple claims that the new MacBook Air is 60 per cent faster than the model with the M1 chip and 13 times faster than the top-of-the-line Intel-based MacBook Air. The new MacBook Air also has support for the AV1 decoding engine, which enables more efficient and better video playback from streaming services.
In addition to the M3 chip, the new MacBook Air also gets Wi-Fi 6E, a microphone with Voice Isolation and Wide Spectrum modes, and improved voice clarity for audio and video calls. Other specs of the device are unchanged.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The new MacBook Air is already available for pre-order on the company's official website at a price starting from $1099. The new product is available in Midnight, Starlight, Space Gray and Silver colours.
