Apple has released a stable version of macOS Sonoma: what's new
Apple, after four months of testing, has announced a stable version of macOS Sonoma operating system.
What's New About It
The main innovation of the software is improved widgets. Now they can be added to the desktop. To keep widgets from distracting the user when windows are open, they will become transparent and change their colour depending on the wallpaper installed. Apple has also added the ability to install widgets from an iPhone, but both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
In addition, macOS Sonoma boasts a game mode and new features for video conferencing. For example, support for different animations and background images. The system also features an updated Safari browser with profiles for work, improved security and support for web applications.
When We Can Expect It
The system weighs about 7GB and has already started rolling out in waves to all supported Mac models.
