Along with the Meizu 20, a more interesting and expensive Pro version has been announced. It differs in almost everything except the processor and interface suite.

Here's What We Know

The Meizu 20 Pro features a 3.2K (3,200 x 1,440 pixels) AMOLED E6 panel with 1-120Hz refresh rate. The matrix is covered by Gorilla Glass Victus and measures 6.81" diagonally. The contrast ratio is 8,000,000:1 and the maximum brightness is 1,800 nits.

The Pro version is equipped with a triple main camera. The resolution of each module is 50 MP. The telephoto lens has six lenses but is devoid of periscopic optics. The zoom ratio is 2x. Only the ultra-wide-angle camera lacks optical stabilisation.

The Meizu 20 Pro gets a 5000mAh battery with 50W wireless charging. The wired fast charging capacity has increased to 80W. Also note the presence of a dTOF sensor for object estimation and a UWB module that enables short-range wireless connectivity with low power consumption.

Like the standard edition, the Pro version gets a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, a 32MP selfie camera, stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and IP54. The software platform too is Fyme 10 powered by Android 13.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Meizu 20 Pro will be available from April 3, 2023 in variants with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. The price is $580, $640 and $700 respectively. All three versions are equipped with 12GB of RAM. Available colours are black, white and peach.
