Regulators continue to investigate the purchase of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, so it needs to get the maximum number of "pros" and enlist the support of all who can. Earlier, the company signed a deal with Nintendo to release Call of Duty on Switch, and Gabe Newell said that Steam would not have anything against the purchase. It seems that now Microsoft decided to play another figure and bought an advertisement in the Washington Post, where it expressed its positive attitude towards unions:

"As we enter the new year, we remain committed to creating the best jobs possible for the people who make a living in the tech sector," the ad begins. "When both employees and management have a voice at the table, employees, shareholders and customers all benefit."

The company also acknowledged the ZeniMax Media union and the labor neutrality agreement it entered into with the CWA (Communications Workers of America) in June. "During this year, we hope to implement the same agreement with Activision Blizzard." the company said.
