Microsoft is going to show us how it has used artificial intelligence in Microsoft 365, namely in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Here's What We Know

Personal sources familiar with Microsoft's plans have told The Verge that the company is preparing to detail its plans to integrate OpenAI language AI technology and its Prometheus model in the coming weeks. According to the source, the presentation will take place sometime in March and it emphasised that Microsoft is quickly looking to redefine search and its productivity applications through its investment in OpenAI.

Earlier, The Information reported that AI-powered models have already been tested in Outlook to improve search and suggest responses to emails, and a week ago, Microsoft announced a new AI-powered app called Microsoft Viva Sales, which uses Azure AI and ChatGPT to create emails to sell something.

While the new Prometheus model is already working in Bing search, the next few years will show us how confident Microsoft is in this kind of massive AI integration across the board.
