Microsoft updates accessibility assistant in Microsoft 365

At the annual Microsoft Ability Summit, Microsoft announced a new feature called Accessibility Asisatant for Microsoft 365 that will be similar to spell and grammar checkers and will teach users how to prevent accessibility issues in real time.

Here's What We Know

Now, if you are writing text or creating presentations, for example, and you make text that is low contrast with the background, a human-shaped icon will appear next to that word or sentence to indicate that your text has accessibility issues.

The Accessibility Assistant will begin rolling out in the "coming weeks" and will replace the current Accessibility Checker tool in Microsoft 365.
