The video of the Msta-S destruction was published on Facebook on the page of the AHILLES drone strike company of the 92nd separate mechanised brigade. The howitzer was hidden between trees.

The regular 2S19 Msta-S costs about $1.6 million. There is also a modernised version, the 2S19M1. It has an automated guidance and fire control system. The cost is estimated at $3.1 million.

"Msta-S" has a combat mass of 42 tonnes and a 2A64 cannon. The maximum range of fire is 24.7 kilometres and 29 kilometres when using conventional fragmentation and active-reactive fragmentation projectiles respectively.
