We have already written more than once that Ukraine asked Germany to hand over the TAURUS cruise missiles, but the country's government refused to do so. Nevertheless, the AFU may still receive such missiles.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada delegation in the NATO Assembly Yegor Chernev. He said that he had received information from his German colleagues about the agreement of the key parliamentary factions of the Bundestag to transfer long-range TAURUS missiles to Ukraine. According to Yegor, Ukraine has been working with German parliamentarians for a long time to form a support group, and now, finally, it has been done. Now it remains to wait for the official decision.

TAURUS is designed for high-precision strikes and destruction of highly protected targets at a range of up to 500 kilometres. The missile is manufactured by Taurus Systems GmbH (a joint venture between MBDA Deutschland and Saab Bofors Dynamics AB). The approximate cost of one missile is $1,000,000.
