Motorola Razr 40 Ultra - Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, two 165Hz AMOLED displays and stereo speakers from $800
Motorola has unveiled a new generation of bendable smartphones in the Razr series. The flagship is called the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra.
Here's What We Know
The smartphone gets two AMOLED displays with 165Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The main screen is based on a 6.9" LTPO matrix with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels. The secondary screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. It has a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels and a diagonal of 3.6".
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. The chip is complemented by 8/12GB of RAM and the storage capacity is 256/512GB. The power subsystem is represented by a 3,800mAh battery.
The smartphone gets a dual main camera with optical stabilisation and 12 MP + 13 MP resolution, but without a telephoto lens. The selfie camera is based on a 32 MP sensor. Both cameras can shoot video in 4K UHD at a frame rate of 60 FPS.
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and IP52 class splash protection. Wired and wireless charging power is 30W and 5W respectively. The US market version will get a barometer. The software platform is the Android 13 operating system.
Price and When We Can Expect It
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is priced at $800-900 depending on the modification. Sales in China will start on June 5, 2023. Prices of the global version will be known later.
