Netflix has again raised the price of Basic and Premium plans in the US - now you have to pay $23 for 4K content
Netflix has announced an increase in subscription prices. Two out of four tariffs have gone up in price.
Here's What We Know
The Basic subscription price increased by $2 to $12. At the same time, it is no longer available for new users. Premium with 4K has increased in price by $3 and now costs $23. The prices of Standard with Ads and Standard subscriptions are $7 and $15.5 respectively.
It hasn't even been a year since the previous price hike. In January, Netflix raised the price of all but the most affordable plans. Thus, Basic, Standard and Premium subscriptions went up to $10, $15.5 and $20 respectively.
In addition, since May this year, users can add an additional viewer to their account by paying an additional $8. This is how Netflix decided to fight the use of one account by several people.
