Official: Nokia PureView 9 won't get Android 11 update
HMD Global has announced some bad news for the owners of the flagship Nokia PureView 9 smartphone.
What's happened?
As it turned out, the device will not be updated to Android 11. The fact is that the company's developers are faced with the problem of optimizing five smartphone cameras for the system. By the way, the device was released in 2019 with Android 9 Pie on board. It has received only one major update since then - Android 10.
Recall Nokia PureView 9 has a 5.99-inch POLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1440 pixels with no holes or cutouts. At the heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 845 chip, paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB. The device also has a sub-screen fingerprint scanner, a 3320 mAh battery and a main camera with five 12-megapixel sensors.
