HMD Global has unveiled a special €699 Nokia XR21 Limited Edition to celebrate the launch of European smartphone production
HMD Global has unveiled the first Nokia smartphone to be manufactured in Europe. The model is called Nokia XR21 Limited Edition. It came off the assembly line in Hungary.
Here's What We Know
Nokia XR21 Limited Edition has IP69K and MIL-STD-810H protection. On the front, it sports a Full HD+ IPS display. The panel got support for 120Hz refresh rate and is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus. The diagonal was 6.49".
The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 695 chip. Storage capacities are not specified, but probably the novelty is available in the modification of 6/128 GB, like the original model, which was announced in the spring of this year.
Nokia XR21 Limited Edition is equipped with a main camera with a resolution of 64 MP + 8 MP and a front module for 16 MP. The battery capacity was 4800 mA*h and fast charging power is 33W. The software platform is the old Android 12 operating system. In the future, the smartphone will be updated to Android 15.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The first batch includes 50 smartphones, but only 30 will go on sale. Each model has its own unique number in the format X/50 engraved on the back cover. The Nokia XR21 Limited Edition is available in Frosted Platinum colourway and is priced at €699/£599.
