Carl Pei: Nothing Phone (1) will get a beta version of Android 13 in late 2022
The other day it was reported online that Nothing is not planning to update its first smartphone to Android 13 this year. Now the founder of the brand, Carl Pei, has given more details about the update.

So, according to Pei, developers will release a beta version of Android 13 for Nothing Phone (1) by the end of the year. As for the stable release, we should expect it in early 2023. By the way, Pei also added that the company has already released three updates for the new product with improvements and bug fixes since the release of the smartphone.
Flashback
Nothing Phone (1) debuted in July with Android 12 on board and a proprietary Nothing OS shell. The smartphone has a 120 Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 778G+ processor, up to 12 GB RAM, up to 256 GB ROM, IP53 protection, 50 MP + 50 MP camera and a 4500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
