OnePlus Ace 2: 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, 50 MP camera and 5000 mAh battery with 100W charging for $412
OnePlus held an event in China to announce a new low-cost flagship smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The novelty has been named OnePlus Ace 2. The smartphone looks and features similar to the more expensive OnePlus 11 model. The gadget will get a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The panel has 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1450 nits.
The OnePlus Ace 2 runs last year's flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. As for the cameras, there are four: a triple 50MP main (Sony IMX890) + 8MP (wide-angle lens) + 2MP (macro module) and a single 16MP front-facing one. The novelty is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The battery supports 100W charging. The smartphone features Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, stereo speakers and an X-axis Haptic motor. The device comes with Android 13 and the ColorOS 13 shell.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of the OnePlus Ace 2 will start in China on February 13. The novelty will be available in three modifications:
- OnePlus Ace 2 12/256GB - $412
- OnePlus Ace 2 16/256GB - $456
- OnePlus Ace 2 16/512GB - $515
Incidentally, there will also be a global launch of the smrathon today. Outside of China, the novelty will be released under the name OnePlus 11R.
