The new OnePlus Nord 3 exploded just 5 days after purchase

Another case of spontaneous combustion of a OnePlus smartphone has been recorded in India. This time a brand new model - OnePlus Nord 3- exploded.

The incident was reported on social media by the owner of the smartphone. According to him, he bought OnePlus Nord 3 through local Amazon on 17 July, and just 5 days later the gadget exploded.

As a result, his 8-year-old son, who was nearby at the time, was injured. The boy developed hearing problems.

OnePlus has already contacted the man to send the smartphone to a service centre and investigate. The local police have also recorded a complaint against the managing directors of OnePlus, Oppo and Amazon India.
