A $500 FPV drone spectacularly destroyed a Russian T-90M tank worth at least $2.5m with a precision hit

It's been a long time since we wrote about how Ukrainian FPV drones destroy Russian tanks. And now, an unmanned aerial vehicle has eliminated a T-90M.

Here's What We Know

The T-90M is the most advanced Russian tank involved in combat operations. The cost is at least $2.5 million. The most advanced version of the combat vehicle is estimated at $4.5 million.

The 80th Independent Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a T-90M using a single FPV drone worth approximately $500. The tank was eliminated in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region.

Oryx analysts, based on photos and videos, have already counted at least 30 T-90M tanks that the Russian army has lost since 24 February 2022. In addition, according to their data, at least two combat vehicles have been captured by the Ukrainian military.
