The Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time in a single battle eliminated an entire platoon of Russian modernised T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks worth $2.5-4.5m in one battle

One Russian modernised T-90M "Breakthrough" tank costs from $2.5m to $4.5m. On the eve of one battle, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to leave the enemy army without a tank platoon.

Here's What We Know

Since 24 February 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed several dozen T-90M tanks. However, the day before, an important event happened - for the first time the Russian army lost a tank platoon during a single battle.

This happened on 13 August 2023 in the Donetsk region. On the published video you can notice three T-90M tanks, one MT-LB armoured personnel carrier another unit of armoured vehicles, which is most likely an infantry fighting vehicle.

The Russians may want to evacuate the tanks that were hit. In that case, the story could get a sequel. For example, the Ukrainian Defence Forces recently first hit a Terminator fighting vehicle and then hit a T-80 tank that was trying to evacuate it.
