An unusual Russian piece of military equipment became a victim of Ukrainian drones. FPV drones hit an armoured personnel carrier with a ship launcher.
Here's What We Know
In social networks some time ago were published photos of the Russian armoured personnel carrier MT-LB, armed with a ship launcher A-22 "Ogon". It is unclear how many such modifications are in service with the Russian army, but recently one of them became the target of FPV drones.
The drones, which cost about $500, were able to hit an armoured personnel carrier. The video of the strikes was shown by Ukrainian blogger and volunteer Serhii Sternenko. The drones were controlled by operators from the Security Service of Ukraine and the 11-brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The FPV drone strikes hit the front and aft parts of the armoured personnel carrier. The ship's A-22 Ogon launcher was disabled, but the extent of the damage was not specified.
