The head writer of Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn has been appointed to lead Ubisoft's popular shooter franchise
Publisher Ubisoft has appointed a new head of the Far Cry franchise.
Here's What We Know
Now the development of new parts of the popular shooter will be led by experienced screenwriter and studio veteran Drew Holmes.
He was the lead screenwriter of Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn, and also worked on the story of Far Cry 5: Lost on Mars.
Prior to joining Ubisoft, Drew Holmes scripted BioShock Infinite, worked on three instalments of Saints Row and the Red Faction series of games.
Drew Holmes knows his business, and hopefully, under his leadership, the next Far Cry games will not disappoint the fans of the series. Perhaps, the first project of the new franchise head will be a game set in North Korea, information about which has recently leaked on the net.
Drew Holmes announced his appointment on his LinkedIn page.
