It seems that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released in the first quarter of 2024
This year's Gamescom has become a platform for many games, including S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl from Ukrainian developer GSC Game World. The game is known not only for its atmosphere, but also for its sad development story, as the development team had to move urgently due to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, which has been going on for two years now. Despite these hardships, the team continues to work on the game and it looks like we have an estimated release date.
Here's What We Know
Although GSC Game World claimed that it had no plans to postpone the game to the next year, a newsletter at the Gamescom booth states otherwise. In particular, it states that the game is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2024. It also emphasises that the game will recreate the best features of the survival genre - from avoiding the effects of radiation to collecting resources and using medicines. In addition, the richness of the arsenal, which includes more than 30 models of firearms, will make the gameplay exciting and unpredictable.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be available on PC, Xbox Series, and will be included in Xbox Game Pass from the first day of release.
