Todd Howard unappreciated: the blogger who leaked 45 minutes of Starfield gameplay online and publicly thanked the head of Bethesda has been arrested and faces jail time
This week, blogger Darin Tyrone Harris posted 45 minutes of Starfield gameplay online, even though it is forbidden by the developer.
The YouTube administration quickly removed the video, but it went viral on social networks and video hosting sites with millions of views.
The story continued.
Here's What We Know
It turns out that in addition to publishing the Starfield video, Harris has more serious offences.
It became known that Darin Tyrone Harris was arrested and charged with theft of goods worth up to $10,000, which can lead to a real prison term of up to 12 years and a large fine.
The intruder is believed to have had access to the warehouse of a retail shop from where he removed goods by the crates. Through the Japanese online marketplace Mercari, Harris sold stolen copies of Starfield, including a rare Constellation Edition along with a unique space clock, as well as forty discs of Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut and 60 copies of Just Dance 2022.
In addition, Harris was also found to be in possession of a batch of marijuana and is clearly a professional weed connoisseur, as he managed to not only post a thank you for Starfield to Todd Howard, but also show his face all over the internet.
Starfield will be out as early as 6 September, but Darin Tyrone Harris won't be able to pass it for a long time.
