CD Projekt has released a financial report for the first half of this year.

Here's What We Know

The company's revenue for the period reached $78.4 million. As in previous years, the biggest revenue comes from sales of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt's net profit was $22 million, with game sales in the first half of 2023 down 14 per cent and a 28 per cent drop in operating profit.

Production costs for new projects in The Witcher and Cyberpunk franchises are gradually increasing. In the first half of this year they exceeded $38 million. At the same time, the support of already released games is systematically decreasing.

The new game based on The Witcher universe with the codename Polaris is getting more and more attention, and at the moment about 260 people are working on it.

Polish developers have high hopes for the Phantom Liberty add-on for Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt is pleased with the fact that within 12 hours after the DLC gameplay video was shown at the Opening Night Live show, news sites wrote more about Phantom Liberty than about all the games shown.
