Game Informer journalists visited Ubisoft Bordeaux office and got a chance to try out Assassin's Creed Mirage and show footage of the game to their subscribers.

Here's What We Know

Thanks to the Middle Eastern setting and its inherent dense built environment, it's faster, easier and safer to move around on the rooftops of buildings in Assassin's Creed Mirage, making the game similar to the first instalments of the series.

Not only is the protagonist Basim highly mobile, but he is also adept at stealthily dealing with enemies. He can sneak up on them, throw a knife, lure them into a trap, use bombs or engage them in open combat.

In terms of core gameplay mechanics and technical execution, Mirage is reminiscent of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but still Ubisoft has done its best to release a standalone game while being as similar to the first game in the series as possible.

When We Can Expect It

Assassin's Creed Mirage will release on October 5, 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
