PC version of Mortal Kombat 1 fighting game will be protected by Denuvo DRM system

Important information about Mortal Kombat 1 fighting game has appeared.

On the game's page in Steam developers from NetherRealm studio indicated that it will be protected by Denuvo anti-piracy system.

In theory, it should significantly complicate the hacking of Mortal Kombat 1, but sometimes attackers manage to cope with this task in just a few days. This is what happened with Dying Light 2 and Hogwarts Legacy, for example.

When We Can Expect It

Mortal Kombat 1 will release on 19 September on PC (Steam, EGS), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
