Yesterday we reported about the emergency incident that took place in the Prague office of the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World.
Here's What We Know
On Friday night in the studio GSC Game World, which is currently finishing the development of shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, there was a serious fire.
Developers confirmed the incident and reported that none of the employees were injured, but the fire damaged the third floor of the office, where the backup servers with data S.T.A.L.L.K.E.R. 2. 2.
As the developers assure, the game, which is so long awaited by fans, was not affected, because a significant part of the servers were located elsewhere.
The biggest damage was done to the floors, which need to be completely changed, and the development of S.T.A.L.K.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl continues and is close to completion, and no anomalies will prevent the game from coming out on time.

The release date for S.T.A.A.L.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has not been named yet. The game is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2024 on PC and Xbox Series.
