Bethesda is preparing patches for Starfield that will fix bugs and stability issues, later DLSS support and other features will be added to the game
Bethesda told about the updates that can be expected in Starfield. The studio also shared its priorities in supporting the game.
Here's What We Know
Currently, the studio's priority is to fix bugs and stability issues. The first patches are aimed at fixing several of the most common problems that Bethesda observes. The developers assured that after that, we can expect regular updates that will add the most popular features requested by the community.
For example, DLSS support will be added to the game. Gamers have been waiting for it since the release day and even created a mod that adds this technology to the game. There will also be support for ultra-wide monitors (32:9), the ability to adjust brightness and contrast, HDR calibration menu, FOV change, and a button that will allow you to eat food immediately.
Bethesda also reminded that it is working on Creations, a tool to support Starfield mods. Creations will be similar to what we have already seen in Skyrim and Fallout 4. Full support is planned to be launched early next year.
Starfield was released on 6 September on PC and Xbox Series. The game managed to spark hundreds of conversations and divide gamers into several camps, and some players started to underestimate its ratings on Metacritic.
