Developers of Amnesia: The Bunker from Finnish studio Frictional Games continue to work on improving the game and prepare a major update.

Here's What We Know

Game director of Amnesia: The Bunker Fredrik Olsson revealed one of the main innovations of the update.

He said that the game will have a higher difficulty mode "Shell-shocked", which will make Amnesia: The Bunker as scary and unpredictable game as possible. Players will receive a minimum amount of resources, the threat will lurk everywhere, places that used to be shelters will now become inaccessible, and every wrong action will be severely punished by the Monster.

When We Can Expect It

The release date of the update for Amnesia: The Bunker is unknown, but it will be timed to coincide with Halloween, so it should be expected in the second half of October.
