The Chinese Room studio has published the first issue of the development diary for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.

Here's What We Know

In this issue, the developers focused on several important theses:

  1. In Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 there will be no boring and uninteresting quests inherent in low-quality RPGs. This means that players will not have to search for abstract key-maps or perform other routine actions.
  2. The combat system of Bloodlines 2 will allow gamers to feel themselves as a powerful and immortal vampire, who can cope with a huge number of enemies. Gamemakers want to make the opponents feel like "food" for the protagonist, not dangerous enemies.
  3. The game will offer a lot of room for role-playing, both in combat episodes and in peaceful scenes.
  4. The Chinese Room developers are working closely with the creators of the World of Darkness universe to ensure that all elements of Bloodlines 2 are in line with the series canon.

When We Can Expect It

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is expected to release in autumn 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
