The Chinese Room studio has published the first issue of the development diary for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
Here's What We Know
In this issue, the developers focused on several important theses:
- In Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 there will be no boring and uninteresting quests inherent in low-quality RPGs. This means that players will not have to search for abstract key-maps or perform other routine actions.
- The combat system of Bloodlines 2 will allow gamers to feel themselves as a powerful and immortal vampire, who can cope with a huge number of enemies. Gamemakers want to make the opponents feel like "food" for the protagonist, not dangerous enemies.
- The game will offer a lot of room for role-playing, both in combat episodes and in peaceful scenes.
- The Chinese Room developers are working closely with the creators of the World of Darkness universe to ensure that all elements of Bloodlines 2 are in line with the series canon.
When We Can Expect It
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is expected to release in autumn 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
