The head of Starbreeze Studios apologised to gamers for technical problems at the launch of Payday 3 and promised to fix all the issues as soon as possible
The release of Payday 3 didn't go according to plan from the start.
Here's What We Know
First, PlayStation 5 users were given an outdated (unplayable) build of the game. After that it turned out that the game had a lot of other technical problems, because of which the main feature of the game - co-operative robberies - was impossible, because players could not connect to each other.
It is natural that gamers didn't like it and started to underestimate Payday 3 and didn't hesitate in expressing negative emotions. They were also upset by the small amount of content in the game, there are only 8 missions in it.
Head of Starbreeze Studios Tobias Sjögren apologised to gamers and published the following message:
We are very sorry that the infrastructure did not live up to expectations. It is impossible to prepare for all scenarios, but we must do better.
We are working tirelessly to restore all services so that our players can return to looting without any problems!
Some progress has already been made by the developers, for example, the problem with player connectivity has been resolved, although some bugs may still appear.
