Polish studio Techland continues to work on improving and diversifying zombie action game Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

Here's What We Know

The company released a video in which they talked about further innovations in the game.

Over the next few months in Dying Light 2 will appear:

  • new quests and activities, including co-operative ones;
  • additional graphics settings;
  • interface improvements and a number of other amenities;
  • new cosmetic items;
  • additional weapons, including firearms (gamers have been asking for this for a long time);
  • new mechanics - additional enemy variations, kills, increased difficulty level "Nightmare", "New Game +" mode. Finally, you can pick up their weapons from the corpses of enemies;
  • Halloween and winter holiday themed events, including crossovers with Vampire: The Masquerade and For Honor;
  • a number of important improvements - text chat, explosive throwing knives, synchronisation of saves between different platform generations.

When We Can Expect It

The date of appearance of such large-scale innovations in the game is not called yet. Probably, the first of them will appear by the end of October (Halloween is the benchmark), and Techland promises to add firearms by the end of winter.
