A return to the classic formula: IGN shows off one of the first Assassin's Creed Mirage missions
IGN has published a 12-minute video demonstrating the completion of one of the first Assassin's Creed Mirage quests.
Here's What We Know
First, we were shown that Assassin's Creed Mirage has returned to the classic formula. For example, there is no longer a list of missions. We have a goal, but to achieve it, we need to find clues and feel like a detective.
Next, they demonstrated the gameplay, where the protagonist Basim arrives in Baghdad and has to find the leader of the uprising, but first he has to free the rebels who have been taken prisoner. To save people, Basim uses stealth to approach enemies unnoticed and quietly neutralise them. But if you want to have a little "fun", you can do it too. For example, there are two soldiers standing, and a net with stones hangs above them. Throw a knife into the net, and the stones will eliminate two enemies at once, while you remain unnoticed. But to perform all these tricks, you need to launch an eagle into the sky before the mission, which will scan the area and mark enemies and interesting objects. In general, the gameplay looks diverse and will offer players to choose their own path.
When We Can Expect It
Assassin's Creed Mirage will be released on 5 October on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
