Atmospheric locations, creepy monsters and mysterious strangers in new gameplay footage from the horror game Alone in the Dark

German YouTube channel GameStar has released an interesting video for those waiting for the release of the Alone in the Dark reboot.

Here's What We Know

The video shows gameplay footage that has not been previously shown by publisher THQ Nordic.

Gamers can see that the new version of Alone in the Dark is as similar as possible to survival horror games like The Evil Within and Resident Evil.

There will be two storylines in Alone in the Dark, one for aristocrat Emily Hartwood and the other for private investigator Edward Carnby. The GameStar video showed that the heroes will find themselves in the same places and meet the same characters, but the circumstances of their meeting and subsequent events will be significantly different. And for those who are not familiar with the survival horror genre, the video tells its brief history.

In the reimagining of Alone in the Dark players are expected to experience atmospheric locations, filled with monsters, to fight with which the developers have prepared several types of firearms and cold weapons.

When We Can Expect It

Alone in the Dark will be released on 16 January 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
