Swedish studio MachineGames, the creator of the modern Wolfenstein and the upcoming Indiana Jones action film, is opening a new office in the centre of the country
The Swedish studio MachineGames, known for the modern games of the Wolfenstein franchise, is opening a new office.
At the moment the developers as a part of Bethesda's internal studios are working on Indiana Jones action-adventure game, but their plans, apparently, are not limited to this project.
Here's What We Know
MachineGames is opening a new office in Sundsvall, Sweden, which will begin operations next year, with full staff starting in 2025.
MachineGames co-founder and CEO Jerk Gustafsson commented:
As a game developer, you are always on the lookout for new talent. Opening an additional office in the north of Sweden gives us the opportunity to recruit from a large pool of experienced developers.
Perhaps MachineGames is currently developing a new Wolfenstein instalment.
Earlier the Swedish studio released such great shooters as Wolfenstein: The New Order, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
In addition to their own projects, MachineGames developers have successfully helped their colleagues from Bethesda to implement shooter mechanics in various games, such as Starfield.
