Two days are left before the release of the crime drama Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, the next spin-off of the Yakuza franchise.

Critics have already familiarised themselves with the game and published their reviews.

Experts noted that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name perfectly fills the scripting gaps between Yakuza 6: The Song of Life and Yakuza: Like a Dragon and has an interesting plot, centred around the fan-favourite character Kazuma Kiryu. Moreover, some journalists even called the plot of The Man Who Erased His Name one of the best in the history of the series.

The gameplay is almost identical to the old parts of the franchise: gamers will have to engage in numerous fist fights with criminals and entertain themselves with a variety of mini-games.

In general, critics note that the game turned out to be not bad and will definitely appeal to Yakuza fans, but it offers almost nothing new and will hardly interest the general public.

The biggest disadvantage of the game is its short duration.
