The American manufacturer presented an improved version of the Steam Deck handheld game console with OLED-screen.

Valve has equipped the new revision not only with a 7.4-inch OLED-display, but also increased the battery life of the console.

Steam Deck OLED 512GB

  • screen: 7.4-inch 1280x800 pixel HDR OLED with anti-reflective glass
  • memory: 512GB NVMe SSD
  • network: Wi-Fi 6E
  • Battery: 50Wh, 3-12 hours of gameplay
  • Charging: 45W
  • price: $649

Simultaneously with the presentation of the new model, Valve reduced the price of the regular Steam Deck with 256GB of storage to $399 and announced that it will stop selling models with 64GB and 512GB of storage once their stock runs out. Until then, these devices will cost $349 and $449 respectively.

For gamers in the US and Canada, a limited edition Steam Deck-OLED version with a translucent case is available for $649.

Steam Deck-OLED sales will start on 16 November 2023.
