Criticism of the shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) continues, the full release of which took place today.

Recall, critics were left disappointed with Activision's new game, and this fact is perfectly confirmed by the feedback from gamers.

Here's What We Know

Steam users met Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) with negative reviews. Players are unhappy with the boring and extremely short (less than 4 hours) story campaign, mediocre zombie mode and extremely high system requirements, all for a price of $70.

The only thing that received some praise was the multiplayer mode. But its positive aspects do not compensate for all the shortcomings of the game.

At the time of writing, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) has only 47% positive reviews. And this is taking into account two more games in the series, since they are combined on Steam.

Note that on OpenCritic the situation is even worse: only 9% of experts recommend this game.

Such a low rating should not be surprising, because, as we have already reported, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) was in development for only 16 months, which is disastrously short for a project of this level. Besides, it's no secret that the shooter was originally planned as an add-on for the 2022 game.
