Cutter Slade returns: THQ Nordic has unveiled a colourful gameplay trailer for Outcast: A New Beginning, the sequel to the 1999 game
THQ Nordic publisher has presented a colourful gameplay trailer of Outcast: A New Beginning - the sequel to the 1999 game, one of the first games to use 3D graphics.
Here's What We Know
The developers emphasised the gamers' attention on the combat system of Outcast: A New Beginning.
The main character Cutter Slade is armed with a pistol, a jetpack and an energy shield. As players progress through Outcast: A New Beginning, they will have access to modules to upgrade their weapons.
In total, there will be more than 30 different weapon modules in the game, which change its capabilities, but only a few modules can be installed at a time, so it is necessary to choose them wisely.
Thanks to the jetpack, the protagonist will be able to quickly overcome obstacles, manoeuvre in battle and change the distance with enemies, and the energy shield will not only cover Slade from enemy shots - it can be used as a melee weapon or to reflect projectiles back into enemies.
When We Can Expect It
Outcast: A New Beginning will release in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
The game can already be added to your wishlist.
