Inquisition's plans have changed: the developers of the dystopian action-adventure The Inquisitor have moved the game's release to early 2024
Publisher Kalypso Media and Polish studio The Dust reported about the postponement of the release of the dark action-adventure The Inquisitor.
Here's What We Know
The game based on the novels of Polish author Jacek Piekara will be released on the 8th of February 2024.
The events of the game develop in an alternative Middle Ages, and the main character will be the Inquisitor Mordimer Madderdin. In this universe, the church has become particularly cruel and actively persecutes heretics and dissenters.
You are Mordimer Madderdin, an inquisitor in the service of God. You are sent to the sin-ridden city of Koenigstein, where something mysterious is going on. Unravel mysterious cases, investigate the crimes of those who have defied the faith, and discover the truth about the terrible evil that is trying to infiltrate the world of the living from another dimension.
Players must track down suspects, interrogate them, and may even use torture. Occasionally, Mordimer will have to engage in open confrontations with enemies.
The Inquisitor will be available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
The developers have also released a development diary dedicated to the voice acting of the protagonist.
